VIVA LAS VEGAS!

At the end of 2007, to celebrate Glamour Puss Studios tenth year of tappiness, over 40 tapping glamour kittens embarked on the best school excursion EVER to glamorous Las Vegas, Nevada.

During our week in Vegas we took over the A-Z dance studios and took classes with tap master, tap historian, author of “TAP!” and all ‘round glamour gal Miss Rusty Frank who we flew in from LA.

We also saw STOMP!

 And met the cast, had a private backstage tour of showgirl spectacular JUBILEE, and even had a private showgirl makeup class from Jubilee chorus girl Miss Kim!

The glamour kittens stayed at the fabulous Pink Flamingo hotel, and had a wild week which included seeing Tom Jones at the MGM Grand, visiting the Liberace Museum and Serge’s Showgirl Wigs in our own private bus, “the Krystal 32”, and even being taken to the fishnet outlet store, previously only known to Vegas showgirls and Caesars palace Cocktail waitresses.

I remember once going on a school excursion to the Werribee sewerage farm – this was waaaaaaaaay better than that.

Fasten your seatbelts glamour kittens, as we have already made plans for our return to Vegas in 2012. Viva Las Vegas!
